
About Us
HUCG is an entirely student-run non-profit organization. Our leadership comes from a variety of academic backgrounds, ranging from STEM to the humanities. The executive team can be broken down into the consulting side, which oversees casework and interactions with clients, and the operations side, which handles day-to-day logistics for membership activities. The members of the Fall 2024 Board are listed below.
EXEC

Sasha Agarwal
Director
Sasha is a senior from Kolkata, India and lives in Dunster House. She is double majoring in Computational Biostatistics and Economics, with a secondary in Computer Science. With HCCG, Sasha's casework has covered everything from strategies to boost vaccine coverage rates to modeling cost-savings on insurance plans. Outside HCCG, Sasha is co-CEO (President) of Smart Woman Securities, a member of the Harvard Pod of Global Platinum Securities, and is part of the 2025 Class Committee, FIP, and Harvard Architecture. She will be working in technology private equity at Silver Lake in their New York City office upon graduation. In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling and listening to R&B.

Sarah Moreno
Vice Director of Consulting
Sarah is from Toronto, Canada and has been pursuing a double concentration in Economics and Social Studies at Harvard. During her time in HCCG, Sarah’s casework has focused on everything from growth strategy to developing market entry strategies to consumer segmentation. Outside of HCCG, Sarah conducts independent research with the Harvard Business School, is the treasurer of the Signet, Harvard’s oldest arts and letters society, and is involved with the Harvard Ballet Company. Sarah has held internship positions in Private Equity and the Startup Space. In her free time, Sarah loves trying new foods, listening to music, and going on hikes.

Ashley Redhead
Vice Director of Operations
Ashley is from Washington D.C. and is pursuing a concentration in Electrical Engineering and a citation in Mandarin at Harvard. During his time in HCCG, Ashley’s casework has focused on everything from market entry to growth strategy to consumer segmentation. Outside of HCCG, Ashley is conducting research on Generative Computer Architecture Design frameworks. This past summer, Ashley worked as an engineer at Northrop Grumman and plans to pursue a career in consulting. In his free time, he loves playing volleyball (he is a member of Harvard Men’s Club Volleyball) and debating music tastes.

Avani Rai
Associate Director of Engagement
Originally from Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, Avani studies Economics and Statistics at Harvard. Since joining HCCG, her casework has covered everything from AI integration in niche services, to marketing and product development, to cloud learning customer segmentation and analysis. Outside of HCCG, Avani has held several roles working in venture capital, finance, and non-profit industries. She also serves as a senior reporter for the Harvard Crimson, the nation's oldest continuously published daily college newspaper, and hosts Harvard Athletics’ basketball games. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, baking, and discovering good books.

Carolyn Lau
Associate Director of Engagement
Carolyn Lau is from Long Island, New York, and is pursuing a double major in Economics and Government at Harvard. As a part of HCCG, Carolyn has enjoyed working on cases in the financial services and consumer retail industry, with scopes ranging from M&A to product development to growth strategy. Outside of HCCG, Carolyn is the Chief Development Officer for Smart Women Securities, Analyst for the Charles River Growth Fund, Sponsorships Director for Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business, and flautist for the Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra. Carolyn has previously worked in both the legal and real estate private equity industries, and will be joining Morgan Stanley’s New York Office for the summer of 2025. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Boston, biking, and scoring great deals at thrift shopping.

Dhruv Patel
Associate Director of Engagement
Dhruv Patel is a sophomore in Eliot House concentrating in Economics and Computer Science. At HCCG, Dhruv has spearheaded data-oriented casework, creating a proprietary procurement software for a hospitality group and conducting data analysis for a sports group. Outside of HCCG, Dhruv writes for The Harvard Crimson, covering the University’s central administration and serving as the group’s elected historian. Dhruv also serves on the board of the Harvard Financial Analysts Club and researches unionization trends at the National Bureau of Economic Research. On the off chance he’s not at the HCCG office, you can find him taking pictures, reading, or traveling.

Michelle Hua
Associate Director of Engagement
Michelle is originally from Troy, Michigan and is currently studying Economics with a secondary in Computer Science. During her time in HCCG, Michelle has consulted for a global technology conglomerate on market entry, consumer product startup on key demographic engagement strategies, and a Fortune 500 tech company on AI AdTech innovations. Outside of HCCG, Michelle is also involved in the Harvard Association for U.S.-China Relations and the Asian American Dance Troupe. This summer, she will be working in investment banking at Morgan Stanley. In her free time, Michelle likes to try new restaurants, get boba/matcha lattes, and hang out with friends!

Nicholas Hall
Associate Director of Engagement
Originally from Washington D.C., Nicholas is a sophomore in Winthrop House studying Applied Math and Economics. In his time at HCCG, he has worked with a leading global social media platform, a multinational asset manager, and a pioneering sustainability technology company.

Ved Pant
Associate Director of Engagement
Ved is originally from Mumbai, India, and is concentrating in Applied Mathematics on the Economics track at Harvard. At HCCG, he has worked on carrying out a Fortune 500 pricing strategy case, creating AI product applications for a big 4 professional services firm, and developing global market entry strategies for a digital storefront. Outside HCCG, Ved conducts research with the Department of Government, organizes conferences at the International Relations Council, and is a part of Harvard’s intercollegiate Model UN team.

Kat Ravichandran
Associate Director of Technical Initiatives
Kat is from Charlottesville, Virginia and joint concentrating in Computer Science and Philosophy, with a secondary in Economics. During her time in HCCG, Kat’s casework has focused on everything from consumer segmentation in the NBA to procurement optimization with a Fortune 500 hotel chain to AI integration within global entertainment. Kat also serves on the board of the Harvard Sports Analysis Collective, is co-founder of the Harvard Crimson Cellos, and writes for the Crimson. In her free time, she enjoys representing Lowell House in Intramurals, befriending animals in nature, and traveling.

Michelle Zhang
Associate Director of Case Development
Originally from New York City, Michelle is studying Economics with a secondary in East Asian Studies at Harvard University. At HCCG, Michelle has worked on growth strategy, marketing initiatives, and KPI optimization for clients across industries, ranging from video games to retail. Outside of consulting, she serves as the Social Chair for the Harvard College Asia Program, where she organizes events and manages logistics for global conferences. This summer, Michelle will be joining AT&T in Fort Worth, Texas, as part of their Supply Chain Strategy Consulting division, working on solutions to enhance operational efficiency. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys curating content for her e-commerce business, traveling to new places, and exploring New York’s coffee scene.

Marina Sanchez
Associate Director of Finance and Administration
Originally from Miami, Florida, Marina lives in Currier House and is majoring in Computer Science with a minor Economics. Her past engagements in Harvard College Consulting Group has centered around exploring the viability and market fit of a proposed platform aggregator model, conducting a risk landscape analysis, analyzing survey data, conducting expert interviews, and estimating long term business risk profiles. She has served as AD of Finance and Administration, AD of Case Development, and AD of External Initiatives. Outside of the organization, she is course assistant in Multivariable Calculus, President of the Cuban American Undergraduate Student Association, and an active scholar and mentor in the Hispanic Scholarship Fund community. This summer she will be working at Microsoft as a Product Management Intern. In her past summers she has worked as a Product Management and Technology at PriceWaterhouse Coopers in NYC and a technology consultant intern at The Hackett Group. In her free time, Marina enjoys going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and traveling!

Shayna Leng
Associate Director of External Initiatives
Shayna is from Singapore, and is pursuing a double concentration in Social Studies and History of Science. At HCCG, Shayna has worked with a diverse array of clients: she has developed policy briefs for a major non-profit, customer acquisition strategies for a global insurance player, and a holistic brand marketing approach for an audio technology leader. She has previously interned across the public, private, and non-profit spaces. Outside of HCCG, Shayna is active in youth-led dialogue and has represented her country at international summits such as APEC Voices of the Future. She enjoys conducting research at the Radcliffe Institute, helping to coach the Singapore National Debate Team, and tracking down the best hot chocolate in Harvard Square.

Luke Yang
Associate Director of Member Affairs
Luke is from Miami, Florida and studies Applied Math to Economics & Computer Science. Through HUCG, Luke has worked in multiple sectors within the technology space, including fintech, machine translation, and real-time communication. In addition to HUCG, Luke serves as a Director for the Franklin Afterschool Enrichment initiative through the Phillips Brooks House Association. During Summer 2024, Luke worked at IA Global Capital as an IB Summer Analyst. In his free time, you can find Luke obsessing over cars, reading, and shopping for shoes.
